About Online French Course
Hi, I’m Mark, and I spent 7 years learning the French language at school, at university and also informally at home from ‘teach yourself’-type materials.
I have a knack for languages, I am fluent in several. It’s just French that’s killing me! So I decided to have another go, but this trying some of the online French courses that are out there. An online course would seem to be the way to go in this age of the Internet – why go to French classes when I can learn French at home? I spend all day online, so why can’t I complete a French online language course too!
Accompany me as I test and review as many online French courses as I can, both free courses and paying options.

FrenchPod is an interesting concept from Praxis Language– an online course combined with downloadable audio lessons in the form of podcasts. The course came about from the original ChinesePod and SpanishPod courses – no idea why they started with Chinese, but maybe they realized there wasn’t such a huge market!
